Hello Amsterdam! Have you always wanted to visit this lovely city but didn’t know much about the wonderful tourist locations to go to? Well, there are so many great places that you will find once you make the trip over. Such as, The Rembrandt House Museum: Rembrandt actually lived and worked in the same home between 1639 and 1658. There are now daily demonstrations that show modern visitors how he worked, and you will also be able to explore the house and see a recreation of how it was decorated during Rembrandt’s time. It can be quite impressive if you like a little bit of creative history. Make sure to check out the Museum Van Loon. It’s not big, but it is quite lovely. It is a double-sized canal house that was built in 1672, and it is located on the Keizersgracht canal. The wealthy Van Loon merchant family owned this home, and they set up a beautiful art collection. Now the museum has art, period furniture, and family portraits. There is a gorgeous garden there as well. It’s just quaint and lovely.
Amsterdam is full of parks. There is one in particular that is considered the most popular. It’s called Vondelpark. It’s just a great place to walk around, bike, people-watch, or just relax after a long day. There’s a cute playground there as well as a great space to play sports and just kick back and enjoy the scenery. During the summer, it is the most crowded there. It’s a great place to make new friends and find cool travel buddies. If you like beer, then you may just want to check out The Heineken Experience. It’s not a working brewery but you will get three beers as well as learn a bit of the history of Heineken. It’s a cute little spot for the beer lover inside of you. There are endless amounts of fun things to see in Amsterdam. Ask around and you will find better spots to explore. Have fun.
